Why don't you carry [insert random thing]?

While I want The Toucan Cove to carry as many different items as possible, some are just too low demand or costly to keep in stock. That being said, I'm always looking to expand the collections and bring you affordable, authentic Japanese goods however I can. If you have a suggestion, please let me know!

Can you find and order a specific item I want?

In the future, I would love to offer custom ordering services straight from Japan to your home. Right now, it wouldn't make sense for you or me to do this, but if you have a suggestion for an item, please let me know!

Can I pre-order an item?

Yes! Always check back regularly to see new listings for pre-orders, especially for new Re-Ment mini figures and Pokémon sets! Some items might have a pre-order limit, but these will be noted in the descriptions.

Pre-order items do not have guaranteed ship dates, as variables like release dates, lead times, and overall market availability may impact arrival. If you would like an estimate on when your package might arrive, reach out to toucan@thetoucancove.com with your order #, and I will be glad to provide you any information that I have.

Shipping & Returns

What shipping options are available?

For all US orders over $50.00 USD, shipping is free and will be delivered via USPS Ground Advantage mail. If you would like a different shipping speed or method, feel free to select an alternate option at checkout. Please keep in mind that alternate methods do not qualify for free shipping and you will be responsible for the cost of any other shipping service.

What items are eligible for a return?

Items received via delivery within the last 7 days are eligible for a return with just a few notable exceptions:

  • Opened items such as booster boxes, TCG packs, or blind boxes
  • Food, clothing, cosmetics, or other items that could be considered a health or safety risk if re-sold
  • Vintage or retro items
  • Items purchased as part of a bundle or subscription
  • Items received more than 7 days ago

Please note that bundles and subscriptions are eligible for a return so long as the items are complete and in their original packaging.

My order arrived damaged or didn't arrive at all. What should I do?

I'm so sorry that happened! If your order arrived damaged, please take pictures of the item and keep the original packaging and box. Email the pictures to toucan@thetoucancove.com with a request for a refund, and I will reach out to you as soon as I can.

If your item did not arrive at all, please reach out to the shipment carrier (usually your local USPS branch) and ask if they know where you package is. Please also reach out to toucan@thetoucancove.com and I will reach out to you with (hopefully!) information about your order.
